JUDGE YOURSELF..... WHO IS RICH ?

A wealthy woman goes to a saree store and tells the boy at the counter
“Bhaiya show some cheap sarees. It is my son’s marriage and I have to
give to my maid.”

After sometime, the maid comes to the saree shop and tells the boy at
the counter “Bhaiya show some expensive sarees. I want to gift my
Mistress on her son’s marriage”

Poverty is in the mind or in the purse?

Who is Rich?

********************************

Once, a lady with her family was staying in a 3-star hotel for a
picnic. She was the mother of a 6 month old baby.
“Can I get 1 cup of milk?” asked the lady to the 3-star hotel manager.
“Yes madam”, he replied.
“But it will cost 100 bucks”. “No problem”, said the lady.
While driving back from hotel, the child was hungry again.
They stopped at a road side tea stall and took milk from the tea vendor
“How much?” she asked the tea vendor.
“Madam, we don’t charge money for kid’s milk”, the old man said with a smile.
“Let me know if you need more for the journey”. The lady took one more
cup and left.
She wondered, “Who’s richer? The hotel manager or the old tea vendor?

Sometimes, in the race for more money, we forget that we are all
humans. Let’s help someone in need, without expecting something in
return. It will make us feel better than what money can.
Coffee never knew that it would taste so nice and sweet, before it met
milk and sugar.
We are good as individuals but become better when we meet and blend
with the right people….

Stay connected.

“The world is full of nice people… If you can’t find one… Be one.

IT TAKES TIME.....

We need to take time to work because it is the price of success.

We need to take time to think because it is the source of power and the key to making good decisions.

We need to take time to play because it is the secret of youth, and a life of all work does make a person dull.

We need to take time to read because it is the foundation of knowledge.

We need to take time to worship because it is the highway of reverence and washes the dust of the earth from our eyes.

We need to take time to help and enjoy friends because our friends ultimately are going to be a major source of comfort and happiness.

We need to take time to love because it is the sacrament of life that might be the most important--and yet the most missed--element in our lives.

We need to take time to dream because it is the foundation upon which hope is built.

We need to take time to laugh.  Laughter has been called the "music of the soul."

We need to take time to plan.  It's the secret of being able to have time for the first nine things.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP...... WITTY RESPONSE IN A TRICKY POSITION...

Two boys were selling fish in the marketplace. The business was very dull.

At last, a customer came. He went to the first boy and enquired the
price of the fish.

“It’s 100 rupees per kilo, Sir,” said the boy.

The customer just glanced at the second boy and realized that he was
also selling the same variety of fish. Hoping to get a better bargain
from him, he moved on to him and enquired his price.

Without any hesitation the second boy said, “It’s just 500 rupees per kilo.”

“ What ! 500 rupees per kilo ! You are demanding 5 times the price of
what the other fellow is demanding, and that too for the same kind of
fish. It’s atrocious !”

“ No, it’s not the same kind of fish. It might appear so, but it is a
special kind of fish.”

“What’s so special about it?”, the customer became curious.

“ It’s an intelligent fish and makes one who eats it regularly
intelligent, too. That’s why it’s costlier than the other fish.”

“ I see, then it’s worth buying. Let me try it.”

He bought a kilo of the fish, paying the hefty price of 500 rupees. He
bought the fish regularly for the next six days at that exorbitant
price with the fond hope of improving his intelligence.

Did it improves his intelligence ? Unfortunately, no.

At the end of the week, he realized that he had been taken for a ride
by that smart alec fish-monger.

Furious at being cheated like that, he wanted to settle scores with that fellow.

The next day, he went straight to that boy and demanded to know
whethre he still sold that “"intelligent fish” ?

“Of course, yes,” replied that unsuspecting guy.

“You bloody liar. Your “intelligent fish” is a big hoax. I have been
eating it for the past 7 days, but not a speck of improvement in my
intelligence. You have cheated me. Return my money, or else I’ll call
the police now.”

Without batting an eyelid, the young rogue said,” Look, when I said it
is an “intelligent fish”, a week ago, you didn't object to it. Now,
within a week, you have become intelligent enough to find out that it
can’t be an intelligent fish. Very good improvement. Isn’t it? Keep
taking more of it, and you’ll become even more intelligent!”

BE CAREFUL - WHEN DEALING WITH THE LAWYERS

A Mafia Godfather finds out that his bookkeeper, Guido, has cheated him out of $10,000,000.

His bookkeeper is deaf. That was the reason he got the job in the first place. It was assumed that Guido would hear nothing so he would never have to testify in court.

When the Godfather goes to confront Guido about his missing $10 million, he takes along his lawyer who knows sign language.

The Godfather tells the lawyer, "Ask him where the money is!"

The lawyer, using sign language, asks Guido, Where's the money?

Guido signs back, "I don't know what you are talking about."

The lawyer tells the Godfather, "He says he doesn't know what you're talking about."

The Godfather pulls out a pistol, puts it to Guido's head and says, "Ask him again or I'll kill him!"

The lawyer signs to Guido, "He'll kill you if you don't tell him."

Guido trembles and signs, "OK! You win! The money is in a brown briefcase, buried behind the shed at my cousin Bruno's house."

The Godfather asks the lawyer, "What did he say?"

The lawyer replies, "He says you don't have the guts to pull the trigger!"

Don't you just love lawyers?

A TEACHER'S LAST WORDS IN A CLASS

Last year on 5 September, one of my favourite teachers came to class and obviously we didn’t let her teach that day, so she decided to tell us a tale.
We all were super tensed because our board exams were round the corner and everyone was under a lot of pressure.
She: “Class! Listen.
Three more months from now, you will be out in the sky on your own like a bird.
[Class started chattering. All of us thought she would lecture us about how hard life gets after school and all. Every teacher was doing that lately.]
But she had something else to say. I still remember this in her voice.
She continued
Imagine there are two birds, a yellow one and a blue one.
The yellow bird is sitting on the ground whereas that blue one is sitting on a tree branch.
Even though the yellow one is beneath the blue one at this point of time it doesn’t mean that it cannot reach the top of the tree ever.
Now imagine, all of you who are not able to score good marks are the yellow bird while the ones getting good marks are the blue one. And that branch is your dream college.
It may seem that the bluebird has achieved a lot just because it has reached the branch and that other birds will praise it more but it doesn’t mean that it has won over everything.
While the yellow bird, who may be below it , doesn’t mean that it can’t go above it. Maybe the yellow bird couldn’t reach the tree branch at this time but it could reach the top of the highest tree? Maybe it could not reach the branch of this tree but it could reach the branch of another? Because there are infinite trees(opportunities) in the forest.
Children, it doesn’t matter if you score a 45% or a 95% in boards, the only thing that matters is that you learn to fly.
The whole class had a pin drop silence.
Where every teacher and parents were taunting and pressurising us to get 90+ marks in boards, she just proved them all wrong within 5 minutes.
She told us how she failed in her 8th standard and how she overcame it, how she didn’t like studying but loved English and how she read novels during her exams. How some children can’t score marks even after giving their 100% but end up being very successful.
